NVWE NOTES: Fully possessed of the exotic fruit-spice combination this vineyard is noted for, the aromas of his wine deliver sweet grenadine, cherry liqueur, bourbon vanilla tea and sumac berry scents along with hints of anise, clove and other Oriental subtleties. The wine is supple and borderline-plush on the palate, where coriander seed and dried orange peel flavors add to the layers of fruit and spice. The finish is extremely long and already seductive, smothering its tannic spine with loads of youthfully vibrant, cherry-pomegranate fruit. Gorgeous now, it will grow ever more appealing and distinctive over the next two to four years. 275 cases produced.
