NVWE NOTES: Attractively bright, quietly exotic nose with a slightly creamy impression to its aromas of lemon peel, apple skin, Bosc pear, minerals and hints of pineapple. Stony minerality joins citric zest to make the wine bone-chiiling dry on the mid-palate however, where the dense fruit tightens up a bit, only to reemerge at the finish as a lingering melange of apple skin, Bosc pear, preserved citrus and mineral flavors. Built like a particularly bright and citric-edged Chablis, it will show its best at the raw seafood bar, and should get better with three years of celaring. 288 cases produced.
