Notes on the Chasseur Winery Lorenzo Vineyard Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2005 : CONNOISSEUR'S GUIDE REVIEW: 92 POINTS Starting with complexing notes of roasted grains and showing a very deep and streamlined fruity note, the nose of this generous yet still developing youngster only partially prepares one for the stunning balance and depth of the wine on the palate. It has all the sweet, juicy fruit expected of the best of its appellation, and it backs it up with the richness of creme brulee and citrus blossom in flavors and aftertaste of amazing length.
