WINEMAKER NOTES: Winemaker’s Notes: The 2002 Stone Place has complex aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate and exotic spices that lead you to truly blockbuster flavors and savory richness on the palate. The rich long finish evokes not only the power of the vineyard but also the finesse of the blend. The wine spends 19 months aging in the barrel and an additional 13 months in the bottle before it is released. This is the best Stone Place yet from these old vines!!
