Notes on the Graff Family Vineyards Chalone "Head Vineyard" Viognier 2004 : NVWE NOTES: This delightful Viognier is beautifully fruity, as orange blossom, honeysuckle and fresh apricot scents float above a deeper peach, lime and custard base. On the palate the fruit keeps its elegant prettiness as it takes on a drying mineral edge. Never insubstantial nor heavy, delicious from start to finish, it will be as comfortable with pool-side sipping as with fine dining. From the “Head” vineyard, originally planted at Chalone by Dick Graff. 650 cases produced.
