NVWE NOTES: This impressive wine is at once youthfully bright, densely packed and appealingly spicy to the nose, where hints of dry pineapple, earth and a bit of Kiwi join a developing core of ripe melon and golden fig. On the palate it opens a bit more slowly, as mineral notes and fruit acidity come on strong to stiffen the mouthfeel. The finish attractively reprises the fig/kiwi fruit elements, and these are again neatly counterpointed by recurring mineral elements in the manner of a fine Alsatian wine. Built for rich seafood, it is an impressive value for the quality it delivers. 600 cases produced.
