Notes on the Lorca Pinot Gris Monterey 2004 : NVWE NOTES: Spicy and seductive to the nose, this fine and value-priced Pinot Gris offers scents of ripe Crenshaw melon, key lime, lemon zest, straw flowers and some mineral hints in a flashy display. It is brisk, yet slightly creamy in the mouth, with dry peach, preserved lemon, melon, kiwi and mineral notes all in balance through the lingering finish. This is a terrific appetizer wine and a delicious sipper. 2,000 cases produced.
