MARGUERITE RYAN CELLARS MANCHESTER RIDGE VND MENDOCINO PINOT NOIR 2006 Notes on the Marguerite Ryan Cellars Manchester Ridge Vnd Mendocino Pinot Noir 2006 : NVWE NOTES: This is a very rich and darkly ripe Pinot Noir, with a nose that layers mocha, cherry and boysenberry scents over vanilla toffee and powdered sumac. It is fruit forward and plush on the palate, with cereal grain, toffee and some coriander seed hints under loads of boysenberry and dark plum . The finish is long, juicy and firmed a bit by tannin, but the wine is already quite delicious. It should see its best service now and later, with Beef Wellington, Chateaubriand or some other grand beef roast. The patient will watch it gain in depth and bouquet over the next two years. 144 cases produced.
