MORGAN GARYS' VND SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS PINOT NOIR 2006 Notes on the Morgan Garys' Vnd Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2006 : NVWE NOTES: Sweetly ripe and complex, if slightly reserved, the nose of this impressive young Pinot Noir is a concentrated mix of red plum, red berry, bright cherry, dried orange, coriander, rose, tea and cereal grain scents, all in fine harmony and of good concentration. The wine is just as fruity on the palate, with cherry, berry, dried cranberry, orange, and cereal grain notes all well defined. The finish is both sweet-natured and structured, with firm, grippy tannins. Intriguing, if slightly unusual due to its dried fruit notes, this already delicious wine will be much better in another two or three years. 450 cases produced.

WINEMAKER NOTES: A collaboration between Gary Pisoni and Gary Franscioni, Garys' Vineyard is one of the top Santa Lucia Highlands' vineyards that has provided exceptional fruit to Morgan Winery for several years
