Notes on the Redmon Family Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 : NVWE NOTES: This is a stylish, bright and impressive young Cabernet, with hints of laurel and lavender, which bring a tasteful accent to its deeper aromas of black currant, dark cherry, plum, toast and earth. It is a bit youthfully firm in the mouth, but otherwise plush and supple, as its fruit pushes the tannins rearward. It finishes with persistent fruit, as mixed berry, vanilla, leather and baking spice flavors unfold. Styled perfectly for the dinner table, where it will prove delicious already, particularly with sauced meats, it should also improve for several years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 144 cases produced.

WINEMAKER NOTES: Rich and generous, the flavors of this complex wine are a combination of raspberries, black cherries, cocoa, and Asian spices, rounded out in classic Napa Valley fashion with cedar wood, white pepper, and cigar box. This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully balanced, and while enjoyable now, should improve gracefully in the bottle over the next several years. 144 cases produced.
