NVWE NOTES: This is a dark and juicy Cabernet with aromas of mulberry, dark plum, toast, baking spices and espresso beans. It is juicy-ripe on the palate where the mulberry and plum notes sit toe-to-toe with those same savory elements proffered by the nose. Everything carries through to the finish to suppress a rich spine of tannin. With airing, the finish grows more complex, fanning out with notes of mulberry, plum, dates, sugar, forest earth, coffee-toffee and black tea leaves. Probably two years from its peak, it is a wine for the richest of dinners. 200 cases produced.
