Notes on the Tantara Rio Vista Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills 2007 : NVWE NOTES: The aromas of this already seductive Pinot Noir offer rich cherry and boysenberry scents, which run toe-to-toe with notes of sweet tobacco and caramel, accented by hints of roasted meat. Dark cherry and tobacco spice are main themes on the palate as well, with mineral notes firming and drying the wine at the finish. Delicious and intriguing already, this lovely wine is bound to improve for another 18-30 months. It should be wonderful with rich roasts and stews. 218 cases produced.
