TAZ PINOT NOIR SANTA BARBARA 2006 Notes on the Taz Pinot Noir Santa Barbara 2006 : NVWE NOTES: This is an elegant, but richly oaky Pinot, with focused aromas of strawberries, fresh red cherries, toast, smoke and red rose. The impression of racy elegance is reinforced on the palate by its subtle firmness and silky texture, and the flavors prove a lingering mix of smoky, floral accented, cherry and wild strawberry. Expect another eighteen months of positive evolution from this wine, but feel free to enjoy it right now. It will be lovely with Prime Rib, sauced veal or one of the more elegant lamb roasts.
