NVWE Notes: This varietally accurate and dinner-worthy bottling delivers elegant, nicely evolved scents of red currant, red plum, sour cherry, “red vines” licorice, peppercorn, vanilla and toffee over gentle mineral underpinnings. It is medium-bodied and supple, with zest and minerality providing a gentle bracing counterpoint to flavors of red currant, red plum, bresaola and toffee. The finish is lingering and dinner-balanced in the style of an elegant Spanish Tempranillo. Very satisfying already, it may grow more so over the next few years. 300 cases produced.
