Forthcoming aromas of blackberry, mulberry and black currant join with subtler notes of blueberry, violet, forest earth, laurel a hint of black peppercorn to create an elegant and attractively ripe harmony to the nose of this fine Cabernet. Impressive grip from polished tannins is notable in the mouth, where clove and cedar and the same mix of blue-black fruits produce a racy dinner balance. Ultimately, the wine proves both lingering and food-worthy if never ostentatious. It should grow in prettiness over the next 2-3 years at minimum. 275 cases produced.
