A picture of elegance, this lovely Chardonnay offers focused, harmonious scents of white peach, baked apple, lemon cream pie, white rose and honeysuckle along with a hint of hazelnut meringue. It proves more clearly youthful on the palate, where fresh lemon zest brightens a slightly more reserved version of the flavor panorama the aromas promised. The finish is long, quietly palate-coating, seductive and notably food-friendly. As tasty as it already is, this pretty bottling will be considerably more so if allowed another eighteen to thirty months of cellar time.
