Sweet natured and complex, the aromas of this already well-evolved Pinot are a rich medley of bottled red cherry, blood orange, panettone, brioche, mace and baking spice scents with an undercurrent of rattan. On the palate the fruit elements prove as sweet-natured and just as focused, if a trace more coiled, while the savory spice elements rise a bit in proportion at this stage. The flavors stay true through a long and satisfying finish where they easily suppress a three year strain of polished tannin. It is already deliciously dinner worthy.
