Aromatically on-target and impressively intense, the aromas of this immediately attractive bottling come forth as a harmonious mix of melon, honey, stone fruit, apple core and almond scents, supported by this grape’s signature undercurrent of saline minerality. In the mouth it proves generous in both fruit and savory flavors. Although it is piquantly bright and cutting dry, these factors blunt neither its generosity on the mid-palate nor the long and flavorful finish that vividly mirrors the nose. Built for food service, it should be a knockout companion to saffron mussels, raw oysters and the like.
