Winemaker Notes
This wine is darj and brooding, a wine of elegance, fine and structured tannins, and basically the wine-equivalent of Wagner piece on a stormy night after unexpectedly making an enormous sum of money. In other words, it is fucking pure magic rock bloody solid complexity on a very high level.
Tasting Note
The 2022 Dreamer opens with ethereal aromas of toasted almond, plum, and ripe fig, all accented by a mineral streak of crushed granite. A delicious undercurrent of dark chocolate adds richness and intrigue to the nose, while hints of dried herbs and leather contribute a savory dimension. On the palate, lush, finely woven tannins wrap around a core ripe red fruit, all lifted by a bright and refreshing acidity that hones all of its soft edges. The finish lingers well into the night, not so much a conclusion, but an invitation to wander deeper into one's own dreamscape.
