This fine and dinner friendly Cabernet opens with deep purple color and all the charms of youth, including bright aromas of blueberry, blackberry, dark cherry and violet poised above a rich mineral undercurrent and hints of graphite and charcoal. It is at once zesty, mineral and gripping on the palate, if also polished in texture and fruit clarity. The flavors are centered on a medley of vibrant blueberry, blackberry and cherry fruit and their vitality carries through a lingering finish that grows in dimension as the wine airs. Certain to be better still in eighteen months or so, it will prove delicious now if served with any grilled fatty meat.
