The nose of this Chardonnay comes forth as a zesty medley of green apple, dried pear, quince paste and Meyer lemon scents with some mineral underpinnings. Flavors of baked apple, quince, pear skin, lemon peel, minerals and a hint of toasted almond create a fine harmony and attractive tension on the palate that carries through a tightly-wrapped, lingering finish. Quite delicious now, it is nearing its peak of drinkability.
