Well-rounded and forthcoming, the nose of this pretty Pinot Noir comes forth as a medley of sweet dark cherry, black cherry and baking spice above subtle minerality. Internal harmony and structure create more depth on the palate, where the mineral hints are more prominent and notes of mace, baking spice and rooty-earthy suggestions underpin richer cherry and boysenberry fruit. The finish is long and food-balanced and the wine should gain in appeal over the next year.
