Fine Mourvedre Rosés always show potential for growth and this one is no exception. The aromas are varietally correct, mineral supported and centered on scents of white cherry, white strawberry, watermelon, dry pink rose and suggestions of hazelnut and orange zest. It is as bracing on the palate as expected, with a deeper core of white cherry, strawberry and watermelon and some pink peppercorn accents all carrying through a long food-worthy finish. If already a tasty dinner wine, this fine bottling should be even better in 12-24 months.
