Among the most successful Chardonnays of its very ripe vintage, the wine opens with luxurious aromas of white peach, baked apple, poached pair, macadamia nut, lemon tart and toasted meringue. It is as forthcoming and plush as hoped on the palate, where lovely zest uplifts long-lingering flavors that beautifully mirror the nose. As satisfying as it already is, it is likely to grow ever better over the next eighteen to thirty months.
