Graceful and pretty if clearly destined to get better in the near future, this stylish bottling offers aromas of fresh red cherry, wild cherry cough drops, pomegranate and blood orange supported by notes of nutmeg, cinnamon stick, rattan and baking spice. Cherry is at center stage on the palate as well, where pomegranate, blood orange, star anise and baking spice flavors achieve a genteel supporting harmony and any firming tannins are polished enough to add structure without any roughness. Long, elegant and food-worthy now, it will be better still in 18 months. 100 cases produced.
