Bright, focused, vibrantly fresh and very typical of Santa Rita Hills Pinot in personality, the nose of this fine bottling offers scents of black cherry, red raspberry coulis, pomegranate and pink peppercorn above an undercurrent of saline minerality. Released at a somewhat early stage, it is showing its zest and minerality strongly on the palate at this point and in the mouth, that combination creates a food worthy balance and the  wine's somewhat coiled fruit does linger impressively, with the raspberry and black cherry at center stage. Quite tasty already, it should grow steadily more so over the next two years. 960 cases produced.
