Fruit centric and elegantly focused, this very appealing Cabernet offers the polished fruit of a more expensive wine. Dark cherry, red current, cedar, clove and baking spice scents dominate the nose. It layers a fine undercurrent of polished tannin and a suggestion of minerality in the mouth, which combine to firm bright and focused flavors that mirror the aromas. The finish is a bit youthfully coiled, but it lingers in a food-friendly fashion, to deliver all the hoped for flavor elements. If sure to be better still in another 18-24 months it gives pleasure already and delivers it at a great price. 1375 cases produced.
