Massively rich and clearly impressive from any standpoint, this is a delicious wine with a finer future. The aromas are still a bit shy in delivery, yet they are well-focused on scents of black cherry, black raspberry, mocha, toffee, hazelnut nougat and sweet tobacco. The wine is considerably more expressive on the palate, where plush body and more dramatic flavors of black raspberry, black cherry, red current, red plum, mocha, hazelnut nougat, coffee bean and tobacco are all luxuriously forthcoming. These flavors continue through a very long and satisfying finish, where the wines substantial tannins are smothered in the stylish fruit. The wine brings great pleasure already, yet the patient can expect another four years or more of significant improvement. From the number 1 and 3 blocks of the Regusci Vineyard.150 cases production.
