This stylish Chardonnay accurately captures both the character of it's appellation and that of its outstanding vintage. The nose offers a bright medley of strongly minerally-zesty notes tied to a focused fruit core centered on white peach, golden fig, gooseberry, lime zest and white rose. It is gently flesy in texture in the mouth and sharply flinty-mineral as well, with a fruit flavor panorama that showcases white peach and citric-floral notes at center-stage. The finish is long-lingering and is balanced for best service with seafoods and sauced poultry. It is a fine dinner wine already, but the patient can expect two to three years of steady improvement.
