As distinctive in scent as is its Mountain top location, this already food-worthy bottling is likely 18 months from its drinking peak. The nose is a harmony of contrasts: at once fiercely mineral and perked by fresh lime and orange zest notes, its aromas are centered on fresh apple fruit kissed by a hint of parsley. These elements are slightly more youthfully reserved on the mid-palate, where the texture is already tongue-coating, although a bit of airing is useful to fully bring forth the flavors. The finish is lingering and dinner friendly and the wine will be especially attractive (now or especially as it further ages) when paired with the more elevated sea food entrees. 236 cases produced.
