Elegant and quietly seductive, the aromas of this very classy if clearly un-evolved Chardonnay are a medley of fresh apple sauce, lemon cream pie and white peach scents poised above an undercurrent of honey, baking spice and hazelnut nougat. There is piquant zest on the palate and mineral undertones which join to bring structure to flavors that are a focused replica of the nose. The finish is very long and food-worthy although this wine is clearly two years or more from its full expression. 638 cases produced.
