This fascinating Pinot Noir is seemingly quite ripe and plush to the nose, where rich if slightly low-key aromas of cranberry, blueberry, lingonberry, red plum and mace rise above a mineral backdrop. It proves surprisingly different on the palate, where tannins, piquant zest and minerality streamline the mouthfeel and bring even more precision to the same enchanting red fruit. The finish is lingering, structured and of chiseled focus, making this a superb dinner wine already. It is likely three years from its full expression. 300 cases produced.
